Description

Welcome Spring in Detroit and prepare yourself for HOMEGROWN Vegetables, Flowers, Herbs and more, by learning how to start your own seeds!

Event Details

Want to learn how to start your own seeds for beautiful, healthy, organic transplants for your home garden? Join Coriander Kitchen and Farm's Farmer, Gwen, to learn how.

Gwen runs the farm at Coriander and has been starting seeds for over 10 years. She will be sharing the basics, using organic methods, of course.

You’ll learn about which seeds to start indoors, which ones to sow directly in the ground, and more! This is a hands-on experience with plant babes and seeds to take with you at the end of class— kale, lettuce, snap dragons, tomatoes, and basil to boot.

Class will be held at our restaurant, to ensure comfort for all regardless of weather!

$10 of each ticket will go to Keep Growing Detroit to support the Garden Resource Program which provides garden resources, classes, and more to Detroit residents.
