Mrs. Pat's was an avid Cook & Teacher at Ecorse schools for more than 30 years. To honor her memory & her impact throughout Downriver her son ,Terence Courts, opened his new restaurant under her name .
Terence had initially opened his restaurant in 2015 under the name " Fish & Chicken Bayou" in a different location. After his Mother's death & needing a larger location he decided to change the name & move his business to 1119 Southfield road, Lincoln Park ,Mi . Some of Terence fondest memories of his Mother revolve around Sunday dinners made with love & many of those same recipes are used at Mrs.Pat's Soul Food , Which specializes in southern cooking
